Intermediate Tajweed & Qiraa’ah
"And recite the Qur'an with measured, rhythmic recitation." — Surah Al-Muzzammil (73:4)
Once a student can read the Arabic text, the next step is transforming basic reading into precise, fluent, and melodious recitation. Our Intermediate Tajweed & Qira’ah Program is designed for learners who know how to read the Qur'an but want to master the rules that govern letter articulation, characteristics, and vocal stopping points.
This course bridges foundational reading with advanced scholarship, preparing you to recite with confidence and precision.
💡 What You Will Learn
Articulations & Characteristics (Makharij & Sifaat): Deep dive into the precise points of articulation and distinguishing features of every Arabic letter (such as Hams, Jahr, Tafkheem, and Tarqeeq).
Comprehensive Rules of Stopping & Starting (Waqf & Ibtidaa): Learn where to pause and resume recitation correctly to preserve the sacred meaning of the verses.
Rules of Elongation (Madd): Master compulsory, permissible, and connected lengthenings with precise count control.
Advanced Pronunciation Nuances: Perfect special rules including Idgham, Ikhfa, Iqlab, and rules governing the letters Lam and Ra.
